Ergon has prevailed against ten other bidders to win the contract to design, implement and run Joining Forces. This Swiss government project will streamline criminal prosecutions at federal level. In a selection process that ran from August 2020 to Spring 2021, we secured Joining Forces on the strength of our collaboration model and our partnership capabilities, our technical solution and our ability to implement it, as well as price and presentation.

Joining Forces is intended to improve cooperation on prosecutions, and will also enable case files to be kept digitally. In the future, the new platform will be used by a number of federal agencies, specifically the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland and the Federal Office of Police, fedpol. To ensure a certain stability, it will take several years to conduct the needs analysis and to implement requirements. There are also plans to continue developing the project over time to meet the changing needs of the federal agencies concerned. With this in mind, Joining Forces is intended to run for up to 13 years.
