Fela/Arcobaleno: Paying without coins.

The Arcobaleno transport association brings together twelve transport companies in the canton of Ticino and the regions of Val Mesolcina and Val Calanca.

In September 2012, Arcobaleno introduced a new sales system with automated machines and manned pay stations. The RFID card, issued by the transport association, constituted a new technical innovation, enabling payment without cash as well as the ability to store tickets. Ergon provided the software for the drivers' mobile ticketing equipment. FELA Management AG was, as the general contractor of this project, the contracting authority of Ergon.
