Ergon establishes subsidiary in Frankfurt

After substantial growth in Germany, Ergon Informatik AG is establishing a branch office in Frankfurt. This signals a clear commitment to the German market and is in line with Ergon’s ongoing aspiration to remain close to its customers. 

Ergon’s Airlock security solution is among the market leaders in German-speaking countries, already protecting around 30,000 applications with more than 25 million users from attack. In Germany in particular, demand for the software has grown significantly in recent years. Recently, for example, the federal administration decided that it would in future be using Airlock as a security benchmark against cyber threats.

Given this positive development, Ergon has decided to establish a branch office in Frankfurt in response to the growing importance of the German market. “We’re really pleased about the way we’re growing in Germany,” says Ergon CEO Gabriela Keller, “so we’ve decided to step up distribution of our Airlock security solution. This is yet another step in meeting our aspiration to provide high-quality service.” Ergon is committed to serving its clientele as directly as possible. The German branch is a clear signal that the IT company is betting on a future in Germany with Airlock.

Framework agreement with federal ministry

One current success is the close collaboration with partners Thinking Objects GmbH and SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH. Roman Hugelshofer, Managing Director Security Solutions at Ergon, comments as follows: “The framework agreement we have signed jointly with the Procurement Office of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior has reconfirmed signs we had already been seeing – that the German market for Airlock has great potential and is gaining in strategic importance. The establishment of the German branch will enable us to distribute our security products and provide advice around the Airlock Secure Access Hub®. This underscores our commitment to the German market. Ergon plans to continue growing in Germany and creating jobs locally. Ergon also plans to continue focusing on the distribution of Airlock and the associated advisory services.
